VORE

VORE is a Tabletop Roleplaying Game where 1-4 players portray adventurers that delve into dungeons, claim loot, and must stave off an unending hunger that consumes their every waking hour. These adventurers are called CARRION by those of the Realm. Though they are not very well-liked, they are necessary for villages and cities to combat the neverending waves of monsters and bandits that haunt their existences. The GOURMAND, or GM, is a separate player that facilitates the narrative and rules of the game, ensuring the other players have fun as they tear into the game. The CARRION will do their best to survive by taking on JOBS offered in Villages and Cities to stave off their hunger, gain experience, and purchase new gear, hoping they will finally feel fulfilled one day.

The system uses an xd6 dice pool mechanic where x equals the number associated with your four attributes: GUTS, GORE, GULE, and GRACE. The gameplay loop is OSR-inspired, so it's familiar to old heads but easy enough to pick up and play!
 
This game takes inspiration from Dungeon Meshi, Darkest Dungeon, Berserk, Elden Ring, the artwork of Shintaro Kago, and the music of Cannibal Corpse.
